PROJECT

PGH MAN

In this group project my team built a fully interactive digital publication from a published print magazine. sandbox

The sandbox is a place where I like to keep my fringe projects. Here you will find digital video, playful CSS3 animations, illustrations, photography and vector art. It may seem like a mixed bag but that is why it is the sandbox. Dig around a bit and who knows what you will find.

digital solutions

An example of kinetic typography that I used as a self-promotional video. I used Adobe AfterEffects and Adobe Illustrator to make the shapes and to set them in motion. I wanted to convey the notion that I bring a solutions oriented approach to my work. Just as red, green and blue light combine into white, so my talents and skills combine to produce digital solutions.

Lucky Duck

If you are in the mood for a story then this video might appeal to you. It is a heart-warming tale about a rubber duck who dreams of freedom outside the confines of the bathtub. Follow him on his journey but be warned, this is an emotional tour de force and quite possibly the finest example of modern cinematography ever produced. Filmed with a Nikon D3200 DSLR and edited with Adobe Premier Pro.

images

I enjoy creating expressive imagery through any medium. Here is a sampling of illustration, painting, and digital photography that I have created recently.

about me

You have seen my work...

So, what about me? I like to think of myself as a bit of a renaissance man, marrying technical acumen and artistic flare. My office at home is more of a creative laboratory where you will likely find microcontrollers and servos next to brushes and paint. My interests are varied and so are my skills. Having visited 37 states and 5 countries (airports do not count!) and living in Sicily for 3 years, I might be called a traveler. Above all else, I am an inquisitive creative who values function and form.
